DIORAMA BACKDROP
I had a opportunity to create a backdrop for a model railway which was a first for me as I had to learn how to create something I have never done before and a project that required intense use of Photoshop. This diorama is for a HO scale model railway, a prototype model of the South Australian country town of Tarlee in the mid north. Photos were taken of the scenery around Tarlee to help generate the landscape layer of the backdrop. The original sky was removed for a cloudy scene to help set a tone and mood for the whole diorama. This project can be seen in Australian Model Railway Magazine Issue No. 349 August 2021 and on Youtube in videos uploaded by people who visited the Adelaide Model Railway Exhibition (AMRE) in June 2021.
